The robot cell consists of three assembly stations to get the complete spring holding box starting from loose pieces. Totally automatic, the process begins from parts feeding, uses vision systems to guide robot and for parts orietnations.

We currently are under a strong push toward complete automation. Having
the possibility to assemble components with a totally automatic machine is a
high competitive advantage for many companies.
We designed and built a special purpose machine to automatically
assemble fittings. This machine has six workstations architecture with indexing
table. All components to be assembled are automatically loaded by means of bowl
feeders. Parts are unloaded automatically too by a pick&place.
After the assembly of all fitting components, including internal O-Rings and backup rings, the machine performs the greasing.
